In Iran, about 520,000 people are flocked through fisheries and 160,000 are being flogged. But, shipping with many risks, including accidents at sea, income fluctuations due to the nature of seasonality, prolonged service life and the problems of retirement due to it, hard work, etc. But, due to the job and economic structure of this occupation, it is usually a fisherman and a part of full-time and part-time careers, and this has led to problems with the social insurance of these strata. The purpose of this study was to identify the most important obstacles for seafarers to insure, to take into account the main challenges of the social security organization regarding insurance of these strata, to study the comparative situation of the insurance of seafarers of other countries and finally to propose the necessary reforms in the process and system of insurance of Iranian seafarers. For this purpose, the research method of library study and descriptive analytical method for the study of international agreements and seafarers' insurance in other countries and interviewing experts have been used to account for the organization's problems in insuring these segments. The results of the study showed that a separate insurance system for Iranian seafarers would be better. But, if this action could not be taken in the short term, some of the problems of these segments would be eliminated by changing existing patterns.

Due to increased life expectancy and reduced mortality, pension funds faced with inability to meet financial obligation to the insured persons. Pension funds in the world are mainly of the type Defined Benefit (DB) that in this kind of systems all risks (investment risk, longevity risk, and etc.) are borne by the provider. Due to the intergenerational changes of the age of life expectancy and guarantee benefits of insured person in the DB plans, most of Pension funds have not provided financial obligation. One of the solutions for this problem is converting DB system to Defined Contribution (DC). In these systems, the risks of pension funds transferred to insured person. But, this plans also requires some guarantees for that person such as guaranteeing the return of investment. It is recommended before making decisions about pension funds especially in case of the pension merger. It is also obvious that the reporting of the actuarial valuation including funding reports facilitate the process of pension merger and the decision-making process. Merging which is usually proposed during the financial crisis, support the pension funds and reduce longevity risk. It is adopted by officials and government to handle the financial crisis. The consequences of merging range from administrative, managerial and legal one to psychological one. Managerial and actuarial aspects not only are related together but also have remained unknown. This paper review the other countries experience and practices and develop the framework for pension merger based on the review. This framework with assertion about actuarial duties and activates is broken down into three stages; before, during and after the merger process.

The research methodology was applied and descriptive-correlational in terms of purpose and conduction respectively. Statistical population included all the employees of Social Security Organization of Lorestan Province of Iran in year 2013; and 183 employees were selected as the sample size by using stratified random sampling method. In order to collect data, 5 standard questionnaires were used including transformational leadership of Bass and Avolio, William's transactional leadership, Balfour & Wechsler's organizational commitment, Chun's organizational citizenship behaviour and Karatepe's organizational politics. In order to analyze the data, the path analysis and t-test through smartPLS software were used. The results revealed that there is a positive and significant causal relationship between transformational leadership style and employees’ behavioral outcomes (organizational commitment and citizenship behavior). However, no relationship was observed between transactional leadership style and employees’ behavioral outcomes. Besides, employees’ perception of organizational politics mediates the relationship between transactional leadership style and organizational commitment.

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of efficiency of social care organization hospitals and to compare their efficiency with regard to the environmental variables of the hospital and the characteristics of the managers (type of activity, field of activity, level of education, age, gender, field of study). In this research, all social care hospitals in the country have been studied (70 hospitals). In the definition of variables, the number of active beds, the number of physicians, the number of general practitioners, the number of paramedical staff, the number of other doctors, the number of nurses, the number of volunteers and the number of other personnel as output variables and the number of admissions, admissions, Occupied bed, average patient accommodation and bed occupancy rate are identified as input variables. In order to measure the performance of hospitals, the DEA model was used to identify the inefficient hospitals, using Anderson-Peterson model hospitals. The results show that the average efficiency of social care hospitals in 2013 is 0.99, in which 58 hospitals (83%) and 12 inefficient hospitals (17%).In addition, in this study, the amount of inputs and outputs was determined for inefficient hospitals to reach the border. Therefore, the hospitals will optimize the number of their surpluses, even lower the initial inputs to achieve optimal performance. Other results also indicated that the environmental variables of the hospital and the characteristics of the managers (type of activity, field of activity, level of education, age, gender, field of study) did not affect performance.

Driven by unfavorable demographic developments and unsustainable, outdated or fragmented systems, pension reform has been at the top of political agendas across the globe for many years now. The reform process in the wide range of countries addressed by this survey differs considerably from country to country. This is why Allianz first introduced the Pension Sustainability Index (PSI)1, which combines the various characteristics of pension systems with the factors that influence them to help track and evaluate policy changes made in different countries around the world. In addressing the sustainability of a country’s public pension system, the PSI can give an indication of a country’s need for reforms to maintain longterm financial sustainability. This can be difficult to assess given the many country-specific institutional, technical and legal parameters. There are, however, key variables that impact on the sustainability of national pension systems regardless of a country’s distinct parameters. By taking a methodical approach to studying these dynamic variables, the PSI is able to evaluate the long-term sustainability of national pension systems and thus the pressure on governments to reform these.
