Aims and Scope

Goals and Vision
The Social Security Quarterly Journal was registered in October 1999 (Mehr 1378 in the Iranian calendar) under the approval of the Press Supervisory Board with registration number 124/9363, in the name of the High Research Institute of Social Security.

The primary aim of publishing the Social Security Quarterly Journal is to promote the concept of social security, enhance the current knowledge in the field of social security systems and social insurance, and explore related topics. Additionally, disseminating the research findings and achievements of the Social Security Research Institute is among the key objectives. Some of the major goals of the journal include:

  • Generating knowledge and developing literature in the field of welfare and social security through fundamental, applied, developmental, and interdisciplinary research.
  • Explaining and promoting the ideas of scholars in the field of welfare and social security.
  • Clarifying the principles and foundations in designing and implementing social security and welfare systems.
  • Uncovering the relationships among different political, economic, and social systems and explaining the position of social security and welfare systems within them.
  • Identifying the capacities, capabilities, and challenges facing Iranian society in designing a progressive welfare and social security system based on universal standards and aligned with the strategic objectives of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
  • Enhancing Iran's global standing in producing knowledge in the field of social sciences, with a focus on welfare and social security.
  • Striving to elevate the Social Security research Institute to a leading scientific and research authority in the field of social security at the national, regional, and international levels.
  • Training skilled researchers in the field of welfare and social security.
