Abstract

Considering the withdrawal of the United States from the comprehensive joint action agreement (Jcpa) in May 2018, resumption or intensification of sanctions against Iran will increase Therefore, the need to predict its possible effects on Iran's economy. If the welfare policy-maker understands the impact of sanctions on any vulnerable group, can minimize the loss of by adopting mutual policies. Given the history of economic sanctions against Iran, this experience can be used to identify the effects of this period on vulnerable groups. Also, acknowledging the potential effects of sanctions on the household food basket, the poverty of households and the effects of sanctions on food poverty.Hence, plans are being developed by the Social Welfare of the Ministry of Co-operation, Labor and Social Welfare to moderate the impact of sanctions and, in general, to empower the community and to raise the level of well-being of the lower strata, and some are on the path to implement. The below provides an overview of these programs. First of all, there is a picture of the impact of sanctions on the level of livelihoods and welfare of the people, and then each of these programs (minimum income guarantee program, public employment, integration of the social support system) are described.
